Kit Name: Blaster
Kit Icon: Gunpowder
Armory: Iron Helmet, Iron Chestplate, Chain Leggings, Gold Boots
Gear: Stone Sword (Knock Back 1 Enchant), Crossbow (Quick Charge 3 Enchant), 30 Fireworks (Flight Duration 3; Small Ball & (Team) Color; Named "Explosive Rocket"); Fuse

Description: "A long-range specialist that pelts their foes with firework rockets instead of arrows! The Blaster excels at dealing with large groups of enemies with its ability to rapidly deal area-of-effect damage. Because of its particularly straight projectile velocity, it is also great at dealing with enemies charging towards them.

Careful though--A Blaster only starts with a limited amount of fireworks, and can only regain more over time. They can also hurt themselves from their own firework explosions."

Rundown of the kit:

So um, there's not really much to say about this one. Everything is really straightforward aha get it because the fireworks shoot straight?... ok bad pun. Only thing to explain mechanic-wise is that the Blaster regains 1 firework every 3 seconds (represented by the EXP bar), and can hold a maximum of 60 fireworks at once. Also, you cannot launch these fireworks, they're only meant as ammo for the crossbow.

If you're worried about the Quick Charge enchantment and the fireworks: I tested out the firework damage, and it actually only deals... very small damage. For a damage comparison (with wearing no armor): a Shortbow's fully-charged arrow deals 13HP (6 1/2 hearts) of damage, while a Blaster's firework rocket will deal 6HP~7HP (3 Hearts or 3 1/2 Hearts) of damage upon a direct hit--and its drop-off is really noticeable with indirect hits. If you want another testament to how little they deal: It takes 6 DIRECT HITS to kill someone in full iron armor, compared to Shortbow's 3 fully-charged hits and a simple punch (because the three hits before leave you at half a heart)... so yeah.

The idea of Blaster is to rapid-fire these small damaging projectiles to overall make a significant impact, instead of firing big hurt-y projectiles. Frankly, it just needs that rapid-fire; I tested out the firework crossbow on just a horde of regular zombies and took quite a bit of effort to kill them all.

...To be frank, I have no idea how balanced this could all be when put to practice. But the idea is worth putting out there lol

I personally hate ranged kits even as someone who has been apart of a bowspam community (Reddit UHC) for 5 years. Don't think there needs to be more. Cool idea though and no discredit to you.

I think it’s a cool idea to implement the firework crossbow into a kit but i feel like this kit would just be really annoying to play against.

Fireworks travel really fast and straight so its much harder to dodge than shortbow. Overall the kit kinda does the same job as short bow but more spammy imo
