Suggestion:
I think the ability for non targets to see scythe should be reverted so that only the death god's target can see the scythe.
Also make death god line of sight for draining a soul (doesn't apply to things like tall grass only solid blocks)
Final change is to give instant health on draining a soul
Reasoning:
The first change makes it so death god not get hard countered. There are already classes that have a really strong advantage over the kit and if you have multiple counters who can see the scythe then the death god that round effectively can only arm bomb and punch people off the map at best.
The second change is to make death god less cheesy, you can basically right click someone and as long as you're within about 4 blocks of the player you can kill them. This means you can kill behind structures as well, so that needs a fix.
The last change is to reward death god's risky and often times unrewarding playstyle.
