toomuchzelda as Trooper demonstrating his incredible strength against @Pandu and @Elitemaster5 at the same time
this drawing took a lot of imagination to create as this would never happen in a real game

zelda snd character.png

toomuchzelda the trooper

Ridiculed for his weakness, Zelda determined to prove all of those who called him weak wrong by entering the Athios tournament. Even after years of training he is quite weak, but he's trying his best.

Zelda was always told he was weak when he was growing up. On the day of his birth, the doctors had warned his parents that their child was looking very weak, and he was unsure if he would make it. Zelda did survive, however he was still weak.

It all started in elementary school. During recess he tried to play tag with the other kids, but he was always tired after only 5 seconds of running. Whenever they played kickball he could barely kick the ball. All of his classmates would chant, "Be strong zelda! You can do it!"

Then came middle school. His classmates started to tell him to be strong to mock him. In PE class he could only do 1 pushup. The whole class would tell him to be strong. He would get his lunch money taken and they would tell him to be strong. He would collapse after going up one flight of stairs and everyone who passed by would tell him to be strong.

Even throughout his high school and college life, everyone told him to be strong. Then one day, he told himself that he had had enough. He was going to be strong. He started working out everyday. He ate healthier. He got lots of sleep every night. He ate vitamins. He tried a keto diet.

After hearing about the Athios tournament, he believed it was his time to finally prove to the world that he became strong. After years of training he had gained 1 pound. All his life he was bullied and mocked for his weakness. No one respected him. But he was going to prove them all wrong. So he joined the Athios tournament, confident that he was strong.

But how strong was he? (not very strong). Was he strong enough? (no). There was no time to worry about that. All he had time for was being strong.

I haven't drawn much recently partly cause of school (but mostly cause im lazy), so I think taking some requests from u guys on forums would be a good way for me to get back into it.

In a reply below, provide your ign (so I can look at your MC skin) and the SnD kit you would like to be depicted as. I will be creating original character designs based on your guys' MC skin + the kit of your choosing. If you don't want to be drawn as your minecraft skin, please provide another MC skin or character that you would like to be drawn as.

Additionally if you have a setting/scenario/pose you would like me to draw your character in, please provide that in your reply. (Don't feel restricted to making the pose/setting SnD related as well, it can be anything as long as its appropriate).

If I feel inspired I’ll also add a short backstory/character description with your drawing.

I want to use these requests as a way to help me practice doing character designs so the drawings aren't just going to be your minecraft skin in your chosen kit's armor with whatever sword or gear that kit has. Just wanted to mention that so u guys know what i mean by "original character designs".

Also, these are just meant to be sketches so don't set the bar too high lul

I think this will be pretty fun project and I hope you guys will enjoy the art B)

here's a storyline I will be using to base my designs off of:

The annual Athios tournament attracts people from all across the world to battle to the death in hopes of gaining fame, glory and riches. It's been a tradition among all of the nations in the world for many years to send their best fighters to compete in the tournament to prove themselves as the strongest, but anyone else who wants to battle to the death can also join. However, there seems to be something darker happening behind the scenes...
My skin + dgod

Time to dissappear again lmao

Savthenugget as Explosive
You decided what poses and what’s going on! Makes it as funny as possible!!
aight sounds good B) i will try my best to make it funny

sav snd character.png

savthenugget the explosive

The spoiled but good hearted daughter of one of the wealthy aristocrats that help run the tournament, she's eager to participate in the tournament despite the fact she doesn't know how to fight... and she doesn't know that she signed up to battle to the death with the world's greatest fighters.

Sav was born into a very rich family, which led her to live a very sheltered life. She lived in a huge mansion, staffed with many butlers, private chefs and chauffeurs. She lived a life of luxury to say the least. Growing up, she only attended prestigious private schools, with the most qualified teachers available in the city. She attended lavish parties with her father. Usual rich people stuff.

Growing up with such privileges led her to believe that if she wanted to have anything, she could get it. And she could, as long as it was within the walls of her mansion or she was escorted by her father's bodyguards.

She loved her life of luxury when she was young, but as she approached adulthood she began to feel dissatisfied. It felt as if she hadn't ever really earned anything in her life through her own hard work. Everything she had ever gotten was from her father. She also wanted to experience the world for herself, she was sick of being confined by the walls around her father's mansion.

She wasn't sure how, but she was going to escape and go experience "the real world". Maybe she could book a flight to some country she's never been to? No, she would definitely get caught. Run away from home and live in the woods? No, she wouldn't survive.

Then, she remembered that the Athios tournament was taking place soon. She remembered visiting the stadium with her dad once, when she was quite young. It was absolutely enormous, and it could change its appearance in mere seconds. She had remembered watching in awe as it transformed from a floating castle with two beanstalks leading up to it, to a barren frozen wasteland. For some reason her father had never taken her back ever since that day. What type of sports were played in the stadium? She didn't know but it must be pretty fun if they have such a cool stadium to host it in. She now knew what she was going to do. She was going to sign herself up for the Athios tournament.

And so, she packed her belongings and disguised herself so no one would know it was her. She came to the registration center and filled out some paperwork, then she was all set. They assigned her a dormitory for her to stay in for the weeks leading up the tournament and sent her on her way.

It really doesn't seem like the high education her parents had paid for really taught Sav anything, as she had no combat experience or any idea of what the Athios tournament really was... But her heart is in the right place I guess? Lets just call it bravery instead of stupidity.

Vampire
Claiming the lost souls
yes sir (sorry for the lack of posts, i went on vacation for a bit. Imma be posting these much more consistently now that im back B) )

cobra snd character.png

Cobra_Command the Vampire

A man born with the rare ability to see and interact with spirits and ghosts and other entities of that sort. He uses his abilities to work a job as a psychic and a spiritual consultant. He was originally only in the city in which the Athios tournament is hosted in because of a special commission given to him by the mayor, however he couldn't help but notice a strange and deeply unsettling unseen presence in the city, with its epicenter at the stadium. Unable to resist his curiosity, he enters the tournament to investigate further.

Thanks to the engravings he made in his sword, Cobra is able to capture the souls of the deceased. Using his ESP powers and a variety of charms and sigils, Cobra can use the souls of allies or enemies to defend himself or attack his enemies. However the power of a soul dies as he uses it more, so he must use them wisely. For some reason, the souls in the arena seem to fade away rather quickly if left alone... Strange.

Cobra was born in the city of London. His dad was absent from his life, as he left soon after he was born, however he was happy that he had his mother, who was very caring. They didn't have much in their small apartment, but they had what they needed to make do.

He first learned about his powers in grade school, when he saw ghosts roaming the hallways. When he told his parents about it, they thought he was just hallucinating. Their multiple visits to the doctor proved to be futile, as they couldn't find anything wrong with his body. She then decided to take him to the psychic, finally accepting that her son may actually be seeing spirits.

They had to go through many different psychic stores to find a real one. Tara's Enchantations was the one. She had actually understood what Cobra had went through. Seeing the distress in Cobra's eyes, the psychic offered to mentor him about the world of spirits at a half price discount. Grateful that her son could finally get help, she gladly accepted and Cobra began his training.

He continued attending school, however he went to Tara's store everyday after school to receive his lessons. He was fascinated by her teachings, and he finally began to appreciate the powers he had. While she was just planning to teach Cobra the basics, she was surprised by his limitless curiosity and ambition. The fundamentals of it all were already complicated enough. She taught him everything she knew, from incantations to rituals to the rich history of ESPers in the world.

After many years of training, Cobra decided he wanted to open his own spiritual consulting firm once he was out of school. He found great success in it and began to build his reputation within the town as one of the greatest psychics available. Clients from around the world began to commission him, and soon became busy, travelling the world and helping others deal with malicious spirits. Still interested in expanding his own knowledge, he performs his own research on spirits during his travels.

Don't think that drawing would be allowed on forums so here is a link to a different site if you want to see it (sorry bvyans):

I will be drawing myself as the kit of my choosing instead. Glad you gave me the oppurtunity to draw my own character tho

onett snd character.png

Onett as Kit Ninja

A talented young warrior from the Vin Clan of the Bonsai Forests, who lost both of his eyes while defending his clan. However, thanks to the guidance from the spirit of his dead grandfather, he has learned to traverse the world around him using his other senses. Despite his carefree attitude and bad reputation in his war-obsessed clan, he is chosen by his clan to fight in the tournament. He soon understands that his clan just want to get rid of him.

Thanks to the training he received under the spirit of his grandfather, he has gained the ability to sense the spirits of others, allowing for him to predict the movements of his enemies in combat. Using ancient magic he researched in his free time, he created teleportation pearls, which he can use to quickly reposition himself.

From a young age, Onett showed great prospect of becoming an amazing warrior. The Vin clan was one of the most powerful in the bonsai forests, always involved in war and fighting to expand their territory. Being born on the frontier of such territory led him to be raised with a survival mentality. Work hard to prove yourself, or be left behind to die. Such was the mentality of the people of this clan.

While Onett was a great warrior, he was, to put it bluntly, quite lazy. His carefree nature often angered the men of the clan, who saw it as a weakness. He still worked hard, but he never did more than what was required of him. Coming from a long line of revered warriors, he was naturally talented, and he could've been one of the strongest in the nation if he really tried.

Other children his age made fun of his lack of ambition. They all glamourized war, and they were all determined to prove themselves to be the greatest. But he never let the others get to him, he was happy doing his own thing. Regardless, he continued to train, as all men were required to in his clan, and even showed impressive skill despite his lack of effort. This angered the other trainees in his age group, and they decided to push themselves even more to surpass him.

After years of training, he was finally deployed into battle, serving under his peers who had ridiculed him in their childhood. His childhood friends grew up to be ruthless and cold men, further hardened by war. They attacked a neighboring village and left no survivors. It was terrible. The army officials looked at Onett's apparent shock in disdain. How could such great talent be wasted on a person like that?

Onett continued to fight for his clan, motivated only by the optimistic thought that he was simply defending those he loved in his homeland. In his mind that was the most he could do in his situation. They struck down village after village with little to no resistance, until they reached the frontier of the Anlin clan, the clan of the pandas.

It was a dirty, bloody battle, bloodier than Onett had ever seen. Nevertheless, he fought bravely. Bodies dropped as the battle ensued. After long hours of battle, he sheathed his sword for a second to rest. Then suddenly, one of the bodies on the ground that he had presumed dead quickly unsheathed its blade, and quickly slashed at him with its last breath. Onett instinctively leaned back to dodge, causing the blade to slash both of his eyes instead of his head. He screamed in pain and the hellish war landscape around him began to fade as he slipped into unconsciousness.

***

When he woke, he could feel his soft bed under him. He could hear water boiling and smell pleasant aromas of cooking meat, and herbs and spices, but couldn't see anything but darkness when he opened his eyes. He was glad to be home at the least. After the feelings of relief passed, he began to feel regretful that he had allowed himself to be hurt. He felt like a disappointment to his family name.

As if it were on cue, he heard the voice of his grandfather over his right shoulder. He scolded him for thinking in such a manner, and attempted to slap the back of his head but his arm simply phased through his head. He was startled, as his grandfather had died a few years ago. He explained to him that after his death he felt as if he still had unfinished business, so he had made the journey out of the underworld to return to his land.

As Onett recovered, the spirit of his grandfather, now reincarnated as a dog, taught him how to see using his other senses. But beyond just his sense of smell, touch and hearing, he taught him to sense the movement of spirits. In his early stages of training, he could only detect the presence of spirits within a small range, but as he improved he learned to detect the flow of spirits, which he could use to predict the movements of others.

Soon, Onett began training again, and after a few sessions he was able to get back into the swing of things. As he trained he thought of what he would do for the rest of his life. There was no way he could rejoin the war effort when he was blind, and life at home was boring.

Then, news about the Athios tournament in the western lands began to spread. On his walks through the village, he would hear men excitedly talking about it, eager to participate. Onett was also excited to participate. It was his chance to finally leave his homeland and experience the world beyond. Once an official ballot was held, he was quick to sign himself up to join the Athios tournament.

Days pass, and a representative is chosen. Out of all of the volunteers, Onett was surprised to see that he was chosen. He was blind, and the army officials who were responsible for picking the tribute hated him since their childhood. He couldn't make sense of it. But then they announced that they too would be joining the battle to bring upon honor and fame to the Vin Clan. At that moment he realized, that's exactly why they picked him. In the arena, they wouldn't be allies as they were now. They would be enemies.

GlitchManMax as a medic. Could there be a camel somewhere in it?
Took a bit of a break to finish up finals but I'm back now :) Will be posting more consistently now that I'm done with school stuff

glitch snd character.png

GlitchManMax the Medic

An infamous bounty hunter in the desert land of Shem. After him and his crew were captured, they were separated and transported to high security prisons. With no choice but to join the battle, Glitch swears to win the tournament, return to his land and free his crew.

Using a gold bracelet he stole as a kid, Glitch can heal his allies at the expense of his own energy.

Growing up in a desert village in the middle of nowhere, Glitch's boredom ultimately led him to a life of crime. His life at the orphanage was boring and monotonous. He would go to school, do his chores, do his homework, then he would meet up with his friends and try to find something fun to do. But it was rarely a success.

They heard stories of the big cities in the center of Shem, and they all talked about how they wished they were in the city instead of their boring village.

As time passed, and Glitch and his friends grew older, they decided they've had enough. If something didn't happen in their lives they were going to die of boredom, so they decided to finally make something happen.

Together, they planned a heist at the village's night market. The game was simple. Whoever stole the coolest thing from the market would be the winner.

And so, the boys went to work, scouting through the market to find the coolest things they could. Afterwards, they all met up and showed each other the fruits of their labor. However, all of his friends' stolen jewelry and charms couldn't stand up to the gold bracelet Glitch had stolen.

It was way too large for him to wear, but it was still a sight to behold. With it's detailed engravings on its inside which seemed to denote some type of spell in ancient language, and the bright purple gem that was embedded into it.

It was the most fun they had ever had in their entire lives. But as they got older, other responsibilities began to burden them and they didn't have time to organize their heists.

That was until they all decided they weren't going to settle the boring life that was destined for them in the village. They decided they were going to be bounty hunters. Inspired by the stories they read about them, they met up and made it official by signing a blood pact. No matter the pain or turbulence they went through, they would stick together and help each other.

And that's exactly what they did. Their life was an adventure. An adventure where they were barely dodging the grasp of death everyday, but it was an adventure nonetheless. And they loved it.

Well... that was until they were caught.

Separated, and placed in high security prisons at the far ends of the country, it seemed all hope was lost for the crew. Glitch was in despair. His friends were the only people he really had in his life. He couldn't bear to sit and rot in his cell.

In a cruel twist of fate, his wishes were granted, as the warden informed him that he will be participating in the Athios tournament. Initially fearful, Glitch tries to argue with him to give him a different sentence, but is only met with failure.

Remembering the blood pact he had made with his friends, he enters the Athios tournament, determined to come out alive, and save his friends he had sworn his loyalty to.

Hippydew as a ninja being so OP

Hippydew snd character.png

Hippydew as Ninja

A general in the Vin Clan's army, he was born with a hunger for power and conquest. He enters the battle in order to win glory for the Vin clan name (as well as his own). He wishes to take revenge on Onett, as he sees him as wasted talent.

Having dedicated his life to the art of war, Hippy is perhaps one of the strongest warriors there are. His pure fighting skill is unmatched.

Growing up in the Vin Clan, Hippydew quickly adapted to the strict discipline and high expectations he received from his superiors. His parents were particularly strict towards him, and wouldn't accept anything but the best from him. Honor and reputation were highly valued in the clan, and they didn't want their son to tarnish their family name.

In response to this pressure, he was always working harder to be better than everyone else. He felt there was no other option. He couldn't bear to to see the disappointment in his parents' faces.

Like all of the other children in the clan, Hippy was trained to fight from a young age. He proved to have great potential to be a strong warrior, and his classmates and teachers often praised him for his strength. And he was proud of himself too, as the hours he spent training outside of class really seemed to pay off.

However, this all changed once he reached his teenage years. It all started at a sparring class. Despite his hard work, he was surprised to see that one of his classmates, Onett, rivaled him in his combat skills. For a second he couldn't recognize who he was, as he never saw him outside training like he did. He watched nervously as some pale skinned kid smoothly dodged and parried his strikes. To add insult to injury, all of his classmates were watching in awe, admiring his technique. He tried to strike faster, switch his stance, but nothing worked. He was outmatched. Their instructor called time, and the sparring match was over. He suffered a devastating lost. His first loss.

He thought to himself as he put his gear away. He didn't understand why Onett was so skilled, he had never seen him training outside of class like he did.

So he worked even harder to surpass him. And eventually, he did. All of his friends congratulated him on his victory. But to his surprise, Onett seemed apathetic about his loss. Suddently, his victory didn't feel as good. He grew bitter towards him. He felt like he wasn't taking him seriously to make him angry.

Time passed and eventually Hippy was old enough to be deployed into the military. He had never let go of his bitterness. He saw it as a motivation for him to become even stronger.

He quickly climbed the ranks in the military, and he was a great warrior, conquering new territory at a ruthless pace. A much better warrior than Onett, but even still it didn't seem like that mattered to Onett.

Then, Hippy received abrupt orders to return to their home town.

Once his return, the generals were informed that they would be representing their clan in the Athios tournament. Eager to win honor for their clan, the generals were happy to hear they were chosen to participate.

And when they heard they could choose another elected candidate to participate, the generals did not spend much time deciding on one. They all were bitter towards Onett, and they wanted revenge for humiliating them in their youth.

And so, he entered the tournament, eager to win glory for his family name but more importantly, to finally enact his revenge.

A once great warrior driven by his heavy bitterness. After his brother's death in war, he blamed it on himself, and his selfish pursuit for revenge. Night swore to retrieve his soul from the afterlife and bring him back to life using forbidden magic. However, he failed and was quickly arrested, and forced to enter the Athios tournament.

A warrior with the ability to separate his soul from his body and use it to attack his enemies. However, leaving his body puts his body vulnerable to attacks.

Night lived a happy life in the small village of Northshire. His parents owned a small farm, which helped them make the money they needed to get by. He remembered the days he would spend on the farm with his twin brother and the other children in the village, playing games and making jokes with one another. Those were the good days.

However, all good things must eventually come to an end.

He remembered the day the intruders came, he was still quite young. He could see their ships approaching them from the horizon. Usually his parents were calm and collected but he could tell from the look in their eyes that they were in serious trouble.

Night was told to pack up only his most precious belongings before they left their home. As they ran away, they could hear the fire of gunshots and screams from the docks. Night stopped to look back, and froze at the sight of all of the smoke and fire, but his parents tugged his arm and told him to keep running.

Ever since the attack, Night was never the same. He grew bitter and sought to enact his revenge on the people that attacked him. His parents tried to calm him down, thinking it was just childish angst, but his anger never subsided. What made him even angrier was his brother's reaction to the situation. He seemed like he didn't care at all, like nothing ever happened to their old home and their village. When he expressed his anger to his brother all he did was ignore him.

After years passed, the country had recovered from the attack and enacted a military draft for all the men in the land. Night couldn't have been more ready. He had spent the years leading up to the draft training, preparing for the day he could finally take his revenge.

Night and his brother were a formidable force on the battlefield, with Night's great strength and his brother's proficiency in magic, they swept through the enemy forces with ease.

After piercing through the enemy's frontier line, Night and the other soldiers were ordered to attack the villages within the territory. They were to eliminate the enemy absolutely, and leave no survivors.

Night's brother watched in terror as Night ruthlessly murdered and pillaged, however, his generals shook him out of his daze once the enemy started to push back their troops. In desperation, Night ordered his brother to use his fire magic to burn the whole village to the ground, but his brother couldn't bring himself to do it. He watched Night and the other soldiers, who he had grown up with. They needed him. He had no other choice.

With the snap of his fingers, the whole village went up in flames.

Their numbers became smaller and smaller as they fought their way towards the capital. To the point where they had to elect Night as the new captain, as all of the other leaders had died.

It wasn't easy, but with the support of his brother, Night and his army eventually made it.

The battle at the capital was a bloody, terrible battle. They were severely outnumbered, but Night didn't care. He would get his revenge no matter what it took.

Night led the charge into battle, adrenaline pumping in his bloodstream. He quickly decimated the enemy forces, dealing deadly, quick strikes with his sword. He excelled on the battlefield, and fearlessly led his men deeper and deeper into the capital. With his mind set to only destroy any and everything he could see, the only thing that stopped him was the soft breeze of an arrow flying over his shoulder, and into his brother's neck. His body fell to the ground. Night tried to shake him awake, but it was futile. His brother was dead.

In his anger, he quickly dashed to his brother's murderer and slashed through him. Blood rushed through his head once more as he decimated the rest of the enemy forces. When he thinks back on this moment, all he can remember is a blur.

***

It was a sorrowful victory. As Night returned home with the rest of his men, he couldn't feel anything but deep regret. He felt as if his brother's death was his own fault. If only he wasn't so hasty to kill, if only he took it slower.

While he tried to find something to hold onto to remember his brother, he came across one of his most prized possessions, his books. He never understood why his brother had been so interested by his books growing up, and he often made fun of him for it. Intrigued, Night began to look through his books. One book about the afterlife, and the human soul was particularly interesting to him.

He learned that he could learn to separate his soul from his body, and decided he was going to leave his body behind and retrieve his brother's soul from the afterlife. Every book he had read warned him of the dangers of such magic but he didn't care.

And so he did just that. Long story short, it was a complete failure.

After his soul returned to his body, he was never the same. It felt like there was some sort of disconnect between his soul and his body now. Like a part of him was gone.

To make matters even worse, the government had found about his illegal rituals, and he was jailed for his crimes.

Deciding they couldn't bear to have such a criminal in their land, they decided to send him to the Athios tournament.
